Human Resource Assistant - PART TIME

We are currently seeking a dependable, detail-oriented person with basic human resources knowledge and must have experience in Microsoft Excel & Word. Be a key team member responsible for on-boarding new hires, QOS reporting and various office duties.
This position will be 10 - 20 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Log’s employment applications/resumes and assists in other employment activities, such as setting up interviews.
Assists in communication to employees regarding benefits.
Provides clerical support to department.
Conducts potential new hire background screenings.
Conducts new employee orientation of benefit paperwork.
Records all employee suggestions.
Assists in maintaining employee training records database.
Creates and distributes monthly safety treat/slogan to all employees.
Maintains communication board for all employees regarding safety.
Prepares exhibits for Safety and QOS meetings.
Receptionist/Front office support.
Preforms other tasks as required including various assigned backup responsibilities for Human Resources Manager and Accounting Clerk positions in their absence.
EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma with 1-year direct experience in human resources clerical support function. Requires human relations ability to develop and maintain effective relationship with all levels of employees. P.C. skills required with working knowledge of related software programs.
