Job Title: Security Officer

Location: Charles City, IA

Environment: Industrial

Position Type: Full Time

Starting Pay Rate: $13.50 hr.

General Job Functions:Control traffic entering and leaving the facility, vehicle patrols, and more

Shift Days & Hours:Fri - Mon: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm(32 hours a week)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Responsibilities specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:
  • Control access to the facility
  • Maintain proper security logs and perform mobile and foot patrol

General Security responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients
  • Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site
  • Respond quickly to critical situations
  • Ability to read and write detailed reports
  • Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:
  • Computer skills
  • Customer service and phone skills
  • A valid driver's license is required
  • Driving history must meet GardaWorld Security Services standards
  • At least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements

General Qualifications to work in physical security at GardaWorld include:
  • Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
  • Pass an extensive screening process
