Job DetailsSUMMARY:As the Application Engineer, you will use your technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide advice and support related to the (QLS/SLS) portfolio of our 3D products and services. This position will assist with the offering and sales of our products and services for new and existing customers from a technical perspective. MUST HAVES:
  • Additive Manufacturing with Powder Bed Fusion or Selective Laser Sintering
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for helping businesses uncover and understand how they can implement 3D printing into their workflows.
  • Responsible for all Channel Leads: nurturing, qualifying and assisting partners with closing channel leads.
  • Responsible for building relationships with partners over the phone/email/zoom by solving their 3D printing needs.
  • Hands-on machine operation part building expert who can understand and optimize the machine (preferable Powder Bed Fusion, Selective Laser Sintering)
  • Travel to customers for installations, training and troubleshooting
  • Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs
  • Arrange and carry out product training and produce support material for other members of the sales team
  • Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events
EDUCATION & EXPERINCE:
  • 5+ years of experience in working with Additive Manufacturing systems (preferable Powder Bed Fusion, Selective Laser Sintering)
  • Bachelors in Mechanical, Materials, or Chemical Engineering
  • Experience with systems, processes, materials, and peripherals
  • Experience with part design, setup, and production processes (CAD tools proficiency required: Solidworks, NettFab)
