Our client is a fast-growing custom software product company looking to hire multiple software engineers on a full-time or contract-to-hire basis. The team is currently working remote and will continue to be remote in the future. As a Mid-Senior Level Software Engineer, you'll get to work as a member of a team working on a suite of new products and features. You will be integrated into a fast-moving environment where we are constantly learning and growing as a team and as individuals. The team is looking for engineers who can strengthen a team responsible for end to end design, and implementation. You can expect to make an impact from day one, contributing to our web and mobile apps, which are used by thousands of people daily, and pushing code to production on a weekly basis. You will work alongside a group of smart, pragmatic, and passionate developers.
Responsibilities:- Develop backend services using C# or Node.js and MSSQL/SQL/NoSQL databases
- Develop Web and Mobile frontends using technologies like Angular, React and Javascript
- Strong experience with configuring CI/CD systems to automatically build and deploy your solutions to cloud native infrastructure such as Kubernetes. Set the standards for security of deployed code
- Work with other engineers and provide in-depth feedback on code reviews
- Implement adaptive layouts on different devices and form factors
- Ensure projects are completed and properly documented according to specifications and timelines
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers and product manager to build new features
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Strong computer science and Object Oriented concepts
- 4+ years experience working in Linux development environment
- 4+ years experience developing REST webservices using frameworks like .Net and Node.js
- 4+ years experience working with frontend JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Redux, along with HTML5 and CSS
- 3+ years experience working with SQL / NoSQL databases like Postgres, MySQL, Mongo DB
- 3+ years experience working with cross-platform applications and frameworks frameworks
- 3+ years experience with cloud services platforms such as AWS
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience deploying CI/CD systems on scale
- Experience with one or more testing frameworks: Jest, Mocha, Chai, etc.
- Work experience with: Git/GitHub, JIRA, mobile continuous integration and delivery platforms
- Experience deploying applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
- 120-130k Base Salary or 50-65/hr pay rate.
