Job Description
The Ink Compounder/Production Operator will work in our high volume Digital Inks department to support production to multiple dispensing cells.
General Operations Responsibilities- Complete batches, following a recipe accurately and in a timely fashion
- Maintain a safe and clean organized work area (5S)
- Cleaning of drums & equipment
- Cleaning of pumps and lines
- Handling of chemicals in safe and clean manner
- Train as back up for dispensing/packaging, and or lab
- Tend manual, automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production / processing operation. Set up machine, requiring a high level of precision and the interaction of multiple variables. Load raw material into machine, determine and control the machine cycle, varying and modifying as necessary. Unload finished product.
- Any other duties necessary to complete mixing, packaging and labeling in the Ink department.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must have or be able to obtain forklift operator’ s license
- Ability to manage multiple batches at one time
- Attention to detail- Able to follow procedures and monitor with accuracy.
