Job Title: Sr. Electrical /Test EngineerLocation: Irvine, CA, 92618Start: 07/12/2021End: 01/12/2023Description:•Lead Operations engineering activities throughout the entire product development process in Medical Device ISO-13485 environment.•Work independently and alongside the design team providing manufacturability guidance for PCBA's, electronic components and system level product designs.•Design and develop tools & fixtures and Automated test equipment and complete required V&V activities (IQ/OQ/PQ/Computer system validations) to release into production.•Create manufacturing process documentation and Process V&V activities in order to successfully launch new innovative products on time and within budget.Skills: •Support New Product Introduction projects from concept to launch with leadership, strong sense of urgency and action.•Liaison between electrical design engineering, cross-functional transfer team, supplier quality, project managers and operations on new product introductions.•Uses Project management tools where needed to lead and manage projects and critical path items to ensure projects are completed on time.•Create PFMEA's in support of tools/fixtures and overall manufacturing process activities where required.•Provides input to PCBA, electrical and system level designs for manufacturability, ergonomics, error proofing and ease of assembly.•Design, document, procure, build and verify or validate (IQ/OQ/PQ/CSV) production fixtures, line tooling, and test equipment for the assembly line, including PCBA's and applicable SW.•Complete Test Method validations and gage R&R studies.Education: •Bachelor''s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.•5+ years of experience in electrical and systems engineering in ISO 13485 regulated manufacturing environment transferring new products.•3+ years of leadership experience using Microsoft Project and other management tools to manage complex projects.•Successful history of designing and releasing manufacturing equipment and ATE's into production.•Experience with PCBA DFM and working with R&D and suppliers on new releases, design and manufacturing improvements.•Experience with Electronic design system SW, labview, gerbers etc., Auto CAD, Solidworks or 3D modeling or similar mechanical CAD a plus.Required Skills:•Automated Test Equipment.•DFM.•Gage R&R.•ISO.•Manufacturing Process.
