Job Title: Drafter/DesignerEstimated Assignment: 7/19/2021 - 10/19/2021Location: Rosemead, CAMajor Duties and Responsibilities:Job Description: Drafter/DesignerSUMMARY:Organizes and coordinates all necessary documentation required for the preparation, design and drafting process of every project assigned. Completes the engineering package (models, drawings, BOMs, routers and other engineering documents) for commence of a new product or any modification of existing products. Apply engineering principles to evaluate designs and determine critical components.MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for the quality of design and documentation of every task performed per design and development plan. Review product and process designs for quality and provide feedback on quality levels. Assure security of blue print design. Responsible for housekeeping of workstation and printers. Perform other duties as required by supervisor or management.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Must have excellent knowledge and ability to proficiently operate computer using Solidworks-EPDM system and various data bases used for documentation. Ability to accomplish drafting procedures and specifications per DOD-STD-l00, DOD-D-1000 and ANSI Y 14.5 with a good understanding of GDT and tolerance stack-ups. Ability to consistently produce accurate, professional-quality documents. Ability to work well with staff and other departments to maintain a good rapport overall.
