Premier Bed and Breakfast seeking Innkeeper / Chef

The Inn is seeking a part-time innkeeper! Charming, cheerful, and a professional manner are necessary for the guests at our 7-bedroom romantic and award-winning inn located in the heart of Mendocino Village. You would be joining a team of other innkeepers who all work very well together and are excited to bring on another team member! This is a part-time seasonal position so your hours would vary. Culinary experience preferred.

Responsibilities will include:

Preparation/Serving of breakfast daily for 1 to 14 people (for morning shifts)

Check-in late arrival guests, hosting wine and cheese hours (for afternoon shifts)

Front desk responsibilities - end of day report, check-in, check-out, etc.

Light property maintenance, repairs (changing light bulbs, etc), and reporting for up-keep of the appearance

Shifts are from 7:30am - 2 pm and from 2:00pm - 6:30pm.

Must work with a smile Must be fully aware of dietary and allergic food handling and menu preparation Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push & pull up to 50 lbs without assistance Must be able to handle physical tasks including climbing stairs, both indoors and outside Must be able to handle sometimes difficult or challenging people with charm.
