We are a small construction company located in Emeryville and servicing the greater bay area. Our focus is on multi-family and income properties. We are preparing for our 20th Anniversary (we’ve seen many good times and bad) and are proud of our record of success and standing in the community. We strive to provide good jobs for good people.

We are looking for the right person to join our office staff. We need someone comfortable wearing several hats simultaneously.

Support Senior Executive and his initiatives (40%)

1. Light HR duties, including onboarding new field staff and record keeping

2. Coordinate IT support

3. Help with safety training (computer work)

4. Some personal duties (errands, reservations, appointments, etc.)

5. Maintain vehicle repair and maintenance records for several company vehicles

6. Help prepare for company meetings (with PowerPoint, locations, food / drink, document prep)

7. Support company values and culture

Assist Operations Associate (30%)

(The Operations Associate supports the Director of Operations (the guy who is in charge of everything that happens outside of the office) with bids and proposals, contracts, job management, scheduling and client interactions, materials sourcing, pricing and ordering.)

1. With Word and Excel documents

2. Calendaring and scheduling

3. May involve working with clients, vendor and staff

Manage Small Office (30%)

(Our office is located in the front part of our warehouse. On a day-to-day basis, the office could have as many 6 or 7 people, but most days it will be you, Senior Executive and the Operations Associate with the Director of Operations and others making occasional stops.

1. Order supplies for the office and the HR needs

2. Answer phone, handle mail and incoming packages, filing and the other parts of the healthy functioning of a small office.

3. Maintain onboarding materials, and marketing and office inventory
