Our direct client is a global hospitality and entertainment company. They are currently in urgent need of a Sr. Technical Project Manager with experience managing Data Strategy projects. This is a fulltime position located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for developing timelines and workplans for initiatives across the Enterprise Data Strategy (EDS) organization. This role will collaborate with other PMO offices to ensure alignment of EDS project plans with the broader company milestones and deadlines. Responsibilities: Leads planning and management of small to large cross-domain initiatives and activities, including conducting analyses, building business cases, developing project and change management plans, and driving execution. Develops timelines and detailed workplans to create structure for initiative teams to plan and coordinate activities and resources. Develops recommendations based on data from multiple stakeholders, and leverages data to support and inform timely, effective decisions. Develop, produce, and deliver executive presentations, program updates, and set and articulate goals and timelines to executive leadership. Facilitates status meetings and maintains project plan and RAID (Risks, Action Items, Issues, Decisions). Create and maintain a work environment that promotes client service, teamwork, performance feedback, individual recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction ensuring quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompass the company's diversity commitment. Supports the development of Enterprise Data Strategy (EDS) teams to foster collaboration. Effectively conveys and expresses ideas in writing and verbally to individuals and groups, including senior leaders. Perform other job-related duties as requested. Will supervise a team of project stewards directly. Required Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience with Five (5) years progressively responsible job-related experience, with three (3) years related to project management. Experience working in a professional service setting, including consulting, project management, and/or change management. Hospitality or related experience, with responsibility for leading / coaching team members and process / operational improvements Oracle ERP, Azure and other Cloud technologies. Experience with stakeholder management, change management, executive communication. Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization including executive management and lead large presentations. Strong and proven experience leading and executing on cross-domain projects. Strong leadership skills with experience in developing high performing, engaged teams with a keen focus on leadership development, accountability and execution. Technically proficient using a computer with proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the Internet. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail to drive development of high-quality deliverables. Form and communicate opinions based on available facts / data; present ideas in a tactful manner to persuade team members and cross-functional partners. Understands and coaches team members on principles of change management and project management. Demonstrates commitment to team building, supports a collaborative team environment, and values the input of others. Demonstrates familiarity with Resorts International guest service practices, operations, and culture. Ability to develop organizational-wide relationships by establishing trust and accountability. Follows through on tasks and activities, and drives initiatives to completion; escalates work appropriate to request support from supervisor; balances multiple priorities with support from manager and teammates. Follows direction that supports short-term success while demonstrating ability to tactfully express ideas through any setbacks, ambiguity, resistance, or obstacles. Solves problems independently and with others by effectively identifying solutions on cross-functional projects. Effectively gains buy-in from leaders and key contributors to foster successful initiatives. Holds self and partners accountable for supporting comprehensive, sustainable solutions and results. Exhibits leadership courage and is solutions and execution focused. Ability to think strategically and solve problems in a timely manner. Knowledge of Data and Business Intelligence ecosystems and platforms. Excellent interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence. Ability to deliver results while working with others, and motivate a team culture that is respectful and supports the company values of excellence, integrity, and quality experience. Must be able to work with diverse project teams with members representing many segments and levels of the organization. Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills. Flexibility to working across multiple functional areas, if needed. Ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders.
