Job DetailsPrimary Objectives of Position:Responsible for directing all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.Major Areas of Accountability:Coordinates and supervises all construction activitiesMaintains construction schedule, identifies and solves problemsSchedules inspections as necessary throughout the processPrepares, schedules and supervises completion of a final punch listOversees construction and compliance of all building faade improvements, interior renovationsMaintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.Interact with community groups, residents and business owners in coordination and communication with constructionPromotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediatelyEnsures all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policyMaintains a clean and organized job siteOther duties as assignedLevel of Education, Experience and Skill Set:4 plus years of experience in the construction fieldKnowledge of residential multi-family and/or affordable housing design and constructionExperience with podium constructionKnowledge of construction terminologies, sequences, blue prints, and project specificationsKnowledge of section 3, local hire, and prevailing wage processesStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsExcellent problem solving skillsProficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookStrong organizational abilities with the ability of performing multiple tasks simultaneouslyUnderstanding of timeliness and attention to detailMust be a team player with a strong sense of urgencyHigh School DegreeValid California driver's license and availability of an insured vehicle to travel within the California service area.Position may require some evening and weekend hours.Interested in hearing more?
