Software Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Downey, CA that is seeking a Software Architect.Summary:The Software Architect will collaboratively orchestrate these activities with business and IT stakeholders, quickly driving to decision and subsequent action. The Software Architect will provide technical leadership to enterprise infrastructures and mission critical projects.Duties of the Software Architect also include: Influence the Client's technology strategy and establish reusable systems, infrastructures, frameworks, and tools for use across enterprise-wide architectures Guide strategic direction of client's architecture and provide best practice standards Maintain and publish updated documentation on standards and/or application architecture Lead standards and provide some hands on development or project leadership when needed Mentor and/or train staff members on existing standards and on the adoption of new architectureREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, business, or other related scientific or technical discipline desired 8-10 years of directly relevant IT experience Ability to communicate effectively at the IT and business facing executive leadership level Strong analytical mind, and a proven ability to work with limited direction in a large team environment Strong presentation skills Strong written and oral communications Ability to develop strategies, roadmaps, architectures, patterns, methodologies, models and frameworks Demonstrated expertise operating as a change agentKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
