Job Description:The research arm of an international company with 100 billion revenue, is looking for a Web Application Engineer, who is energetic, driven, passionate, and curious about the newest technology. You will have great opportunities to innovate and design new software solutions to solve challenges in technology research, IT, ERP systems, security, and other areas. What you do can impact more than 1000 users in the 15 offices across the US.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify company processes that can be automated to improve productivity by a software solution
  • Create secure software solutions for our users that can be extended to the public in the future
  • Collect user requirements and lead the continuous improvement of our operation by software solutions based on the lean methodology
  • Provide support for customer escalations by debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving integration issues
  • Ensure version control of the software you build
  • Identify business needs with technical and security constraints
  • Identify future system risks and design a solution

Basic Qualifications:
  • Full-stack developer with strong passion to learn new programming platforms and languages, including Microsoft Power Apps, ServiceNow Platform, Angular.js, React, Vue.js, node.js, Python, Go, and Rust
  • Advanced level knowledge of client side presentation abstraction and/or implementations, like JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5
  • Understand web system architecture and how to troubleshoot performance issues
  • Experience with Active Directory user account management
  • SQL proficiency and familiarity in SQL databases, like MySQL, MS SQL, or PostgreSQL
  • Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in mobile software engineering
  • Experience to achieve success in large companies that require a clear definition of work processes
  • Experience of managing a project based on the direction from different key stakeholders
