The Senior Revenue Manager will be responsible for revenue-related financial functions. The successful candidate will manage the month-end close for revenue, provide data analysis, and recommend solutions to contribute to the growth of an industry leading ecommerce platform. Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Review customer arrangements; ensure consistent application of revenue recognition in accordance with company policy/GAAP
  • Partner with cross functional teams to drive the evaluation of deal structures to ensure compliance with GAAP revenue recognition standards
  • Assist with global revenue recognition closing to ensure consistent application of GAAP and Company revenue recognition policies
  • Design and maintain revenue-recognition financial models
  • Responsible for daily revenue-related processes and month-end close
  • Enforce revenue recognition policies/procedures/guidelines and recommend process improvements
  • Responsible for internal controls; testing system generated revenue/deferred revenue reports
  • Work with other departments on revenue-related issues
  • Participate in monthly revenue and cash forecast with the financial team
  • Resolve revenue-related discrepancies with order processing
  • Investigate and explain GL variances
  • Prepare monthly financial close reporting packages and management commentary
  • Provide technical documentation, support, and point-of-contact to external auditors during quarterly and year-end audit
  • Assist with the preparation of reports in accordance with GAAP and SEC reporting standards
  • Develop material and provide ongoing training on revenue recognition to cross-functional teams
  • Complete assigned ad hoc projects

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and/or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years of work experience; Big 4/MBA/CPA preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and internal reporting tools
  • Experience with Great Plains or equivalent ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Experience with IDEA software or other data analysis software preferred
  • Experience with GAAP, SEC reporting

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Expert-level experience with Excel (vlookup, pivot tables); financial modeling experience desirable
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills; able to interact with all levels of the company
  • Deadline oriented, organized, ability to multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-player, positive attitude and flexible
  • Must be comfortable with adult content
  • Must be at least 21 years old
