We are a Monterey Peninsula, medium-sized, local CPA firm, with two partners and approximately ten accountants. Our diverse client base includes hundreds of corporations, LLC's, partnerships, fiduciaries (Estates and Trusts), and individuals. We provide an extensive range of services in many industries including real estate, retail, medical, financial services, construction, professionals, restaurants/hotels and a wide variety of small businesses.
Services include tax planning and compliance for corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates and individuals; business, tax and estate consulting, strategic & business planning and set-up and maintenance of computerized accounting systems.

Review and adjustment of entity year end accounting for tax preparation purposes
Preparation of work papers and spreadsheets
Preparation of individual, corporate, partnership and trust returns
Assist with tax planning and special projects
Review of and response to tax notices from the IRS or other governmental agencies
Direct client interaction.
Bachelor’s degree with Accounting emphasis preferred, but not required
Software proficiency in income tax preparation (Prosystem FX) & Lacerte, income tax planning (TaxTools), QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
2+ years relevant work experience
Experience working in a paperless environment
Working knowledge of General Ledger Accounting
