Purpose The Communications Specialist supports the Principal Communications & Change Management Lead in drafting, refining and executing IT communications for user-impacting IT changes across the region, in order to align delivery, timing and approach for the business.

Job Description:

Communication Strategy & Execution -Supports creation of communications & communication strategies as needed, to inform and empower employees to adopt IT-driven changes -Supports function-specific communication strategies as needed for complex IT changes -Supports the end-user communication strategy end to end -Supports execution of communication plans (drafts communications, socializes, incorporates key stakeholder feedback, and sends to 20,000+ end users) -Manages team’s email campaign software account (Mailchimp) to draft email campaigns, manage audience lists, create surveys, and send campaigns -Reviews, refines, and reformats draft campaigns from Global Communications team in order to tailor to the audience -Curates and categorizes content for digest-style communications -Reformats content to post to other channels, such as Google Currents and WordPress websites -Works with Adoption Services Technical Account Manager to craft Quarterly Newsletters to targeted groups Consultation & Business Partnership -Helps prepare updates about changes coming with IT and business stakeholders (presentations, meetings, 1:1s, etc.) -Supports partnering with key business stakeholders on function-specific communication strategies, to ascertain and shape how business groups will be impacted and/or embrace large IT changes -Supports execution of VoiceIT communications in MailChimp -Supports team in providing guidance to small IT project teams about how and when to communicate; reviews drafts and polishes communications as needed for clarity, simplicity and adoption -Assists with communications for pilot launches of larger IT initiatives Adoption Teamwork -Helps maintain end-user impact and communications calendars shared with adoption services team and key IT stakeholders -Builds trustful and effective relationships and networks; promotes teamwork, collaboration and sharing -Aligns with Global Regional Adoption Services teams, supporting strategies to share best practices, materials, and knowledge amongst global team

Job Qualifications: Relevant Bachelor's degree, Communications preferred 1+ year of related experienceExperience using email campaign software (e.g. Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, etc.) Familiarity with Google Workspace Highly self-organized; able to balance multiple tactical requests and competing priorities Excellent oral and written communication skills Demonstrated success communicating across a variety of audiences Ability to translate technical jargon into simple user-friendly terms Plus: Change Management certification or experience
