Location: Anamosa State Penitentiary, Anamosa, Iowa
Pay Range: $74,110.40 - $113,588.80 yearly, $35.63 - $54.61 hourly
Job Description: Join our team as the Deputy Warden at Anamosa State Penitentiary. In this position you will have operational oversight of facility operations. Role models pro-social attitudes and behaviors that convey respect for others and the acknowledgement that incarcerated individuals can change their lives by development of skills and the adoption of pro-social attitudes and behaviors. You will also be expected to make weekly checks of all major institutional areas. Be an active participate on various inter-disciplinary teams, including Classification, Management, Segregation Reviews, and Security. Oversee institutional PREA team, as well as Crisis Negation. Assists with the Warden on appeals of Incarcerated Individual's discipline, grievances, classification, and visiting appeals. Participates in various personnel processes including, hiring, promoting and employee discipline.
