Senior UI / Automation Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior UI/Automation Engineer in San Clemente, CA. This will be onsite in San Clemente for onboarding and hybrid remote starting the fall of 2021.Summary:The Senior UI/Automation Engineer will be part of our R&D team responsible for developing test automation software/scripts to automate application and system testing. Your primary focus will be on the verification activities around patient safety software related features and functions. The work may vary between working in a verification scrum team and supporting local leads/developers.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Senior UI/Automation Engineer will write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system Determine the priority for test scenarios and create test execution plans Senior UI/Automation Engineers write documentation automated test plans, test procedures, and test cases Use and build test automation frameworksREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar discipline from an accredited college Minimum 7 years of professional experience Minimum 5 years of experience developing test automation software/scripts Experience in at least one test automation tool (e.g. Selenium, TestComplete, Katalon Studio, Ranorx, etc.) Proficient in any of the common computer languages used for test automation technologies: Python, Java, Ruby, C, PHP, C#, etc. Proficient on the Windows platform Familiarity of software development lifecycle and software test processes Excellent documentation and communication skills Basic knowledge of authentication protocols and cybersecurity a plusKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
