Duration: 5 months+ (through 1-25-22) with anticipated extension(s) Location: Century City, CA.Seeking a Banking Operations Consultant to assist on a Core Banking Platform Transformation project.This program will deliver system enhancements across the frontline, operations and technology. The program will enable faster, scalable and modern tools that increase speed to market. Ultimately, empowering a better client and colleague exp.-A hands-on person to partner with various groups on program level activities as well as ongoing business operations. -Provide expertise and guidance, managing multiple priorities and tracks of work simultaneously, providing expertise and guidance and rolling up their sleeves as needed to dig into the current state and to support the team in preparing for the new core platform. -Identify opportunities to improve or enhance the current operations ahead of the conversion.

Skills/Exp./Duties:-Operationalize processes resulting from the core conversion across various teams/groups-Ensure operational readiness through the creation of procedures, training, and change management practices.-Facilitate the development of new and additional controls related to both the conversion event and ongoing business operations.-Utilize knowledge of banking operations and core transformation initiatives to identify opportunities, make recommendations and develop action plans to address.-Assist in the facilitation and execution of User Acceptance Testing-Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team.-Minimum of 15 years of professional exp. leading and managing large scale banking operations.-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work exp. (MA or MBA preferred) -Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills. Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams. -Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with all levels across the organization. -Strong business acumen & proven success in aligning with business partners -Effective leadership skills including demonstrated experience leading teams, driving engagement, influencing and working across multiple functions in a matrix type setting. -Excellent project management & prioritization skills.-Demonstrated client and colleague focus-evaluates decisions through the eyes of the user; builds strong relationships; creates processes with client and colleague viewpoint; partners with clients and colleagues to help inform future initiatives. -Strong analytical and strong problem-solving skills-communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve; creates actionable strategies and operational plans. -Change oriented actively generates process improvements; champions and drives change initiatives; confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly. -Awareness of Six Sigma, CMMI, other process improvement techniques and change management procedures is desired. Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile or other SDLC methodologies)
