RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client, a growing company in the Phoenix, AZ area that is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager. This company offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, annual bonus, 4 weeks of PTO, and 401K matching.Essential Duties of the Senior Network Security Engineer: The Senior Network Security Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation and management of security infrastructure involving an enterprise network; The senior network security engineer will be a primary contributor in the architecture, design, implementation, and support of the global corporate network security infrastructure to meet growth, service reliability requirements and problem management Design, plan and implement aspects of the network security infrastructure using Cisco ISE The Senior Network Security Engineer will perform on-going optimization of the network security devices to ensure adequate capacity, availability, and scalability Daily Incident Management responsibilities will include troubleshooting security device issues, documenting troubleshooting steps and providing status updates to management Create and present reporting information; Updating process documents and other duties as required As the Senior Network Security Engineer, you will participate in the Change Management process to include creating new change request, reviewing submitted change forms, verify submitted change request information Stage, and/or implement changes to security devices and update design documentation as requiredREQUIREMENTS: BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or relevant degree or equivalent work experience CCIE Certification is a plus 5+ years of TCP/IP mastery, inclusive of LAN and secure WAN design and implementation 5+ years of Engineering/Architecture Network experience with Cisco Networking technologies, including Route/Switch, Wireless, Nexus, Cisco Firepower, Cisco ISE Strong time management and multi-tasking skills Participation in on-call rotations and working at a -hands on- level with Tier 3 technical support teams Ability to troubleshoot simple or complex issues and to utilize available reference material and resources to resolve issues as quickly as possibleExperience with Cisco wireless: Experience designing networks with Cisco routers/switches/wireless/firewalls Experience designing networks with Palo Alto firewalls Experience with collocated datacenter, disaster recovery, and redundant network designs and architectureKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
