IT Helpdesk TechnicianJob Title: IT Helpdesk TechnicianDuration: 12 Months +Location: Mountainview, CA (Remote until Covid)An IT Helpdesk Technician will need to respond to requests for support in a timely manner and be a point of contact for all IT support related tickets. As they will interact with colleagues from different teams, regions and even executives, a high level of professionalism is required in their communication skills. Summary of Responsibilities:Provide technical assistance to resolve employees issues for hardware and software locally and remoteTroubleshoot and Resolve user issues in Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, and Linux.Ensure Incidents & Requests are handled within our SLAs to empower users with timely and accurate solutionsUtilize ticketing tracking system to document all support casesPerform user account management and application assignment.Perform hardware repairs & process warranty RMA’s on systems as needed.Provide support for other IT teams projects and Initiatives. Summary of Qualifications:- Customer focused personality and a positive “Can-Do” attitude- Ability to work independently and deliver upon expectations- Comfortable working in a matrixed environment (being able to answer to multiple project owners)- Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from two year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience- End user based Desktop OS support experience (MacOS and Windows)- End user based Mobile OS support experience (iOS and Android)- Base level understanding of networking principles; VPN, LAN, WAN, wireless.- Must be willing and able to work in an open office, team environment- Must be willing and able to work both in office, and from home when required.- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds overhead.- Perform tasks that involve climbing ladders, walking between campuses and carrying a equipment bag that will contain mechanical tools and replacement gear for different sites.
