100% REMOTEWe're looking for a motivated Ruby on Rails Developer for our client. This is an excellent opportunity to support a growing FinTech organization in a fully remote role!This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities of the Ruby on Rails Developer: - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Design robust, scalable, and secure features
- Contribute to all phases of the SDLC
- Follow best practices, such as TDD, CI, and Scrum
- Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design
Requirements of the Ruby on Rails Developer: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and at least 5 years of experience with RoR
- Demonstrated work experience as a Ruby on Rails developer
- Demonstrated work experience in software development
- Experience developing highly interactive applications
- Firm grasp of object-oriented analysis and design
- Passion for writing simple, clean, and efficient code
- Good knowledge of relational databases
- Working knowledge of NoSQL and SQL databases
- Fintech background is a huge plus!
