Mechanic - ASE certified or 5+ years full time experience

Express Employment Professionals in Redding is working with a busy local automotive shop recruiting mechanics either ASE Certified or with a minimum of 5+ years' experience to become an integral part of their team! 32-40 hours per week depending on amount of jobs. You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul automotive vehicles. Electrical experience a plus Hourly wage depends on experience and is negotiable.

We are currently seeking mechanics either ASE Certified or have a minimum of 5+ years' experience to become an integral part of our clients' team! You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul automotive vehicles. This is a full time position and pay depends on experience and whether or not you have any certifications.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles

Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance

Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs

Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments

Qualifications:

Previous experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or other related fields - ASE certified or at least 5+ years' experience in an automotive shop

Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Deadline and detail-oriented

Degree or certificate in automotive electrical a plus

We are looking for someone who will be focused on providing high quality service to help our clients resolve issues with vehicle performance and appearance, inspect mechanical and electronic components, diagnose issues, and help find resolutions to avert issues that may affect the performance or longevity of their vehicles for our clients. You should be thorough, reliable, honest, logical, and motivated. We are looking for a mechanic that will help our client continue to serve their customers and help to continue to grow their business.

AC Certified is strongly preferred but not required, however, to be considered, 5+ years' of automotive experience is required if no ASE. Some AC service is experience is appreciated. Pay will depend on certifications and/or experience.

Client pays for uniforms, continuing education if ASE certified, or training provided by corporate office. Retirement and AFLAC benefits available after the probationary period.
