POSITION SUMMARY

Manages the day-to-day operations, including but not limited to customer service, deliveries, walk-in customers, yard personnel, service department, credit procedure, safety, revenue tracking, and counter personnel by performing the following duties.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Visit key customers to develop relationships and explore areas of opportunity.

Oversee the hiring and management of the rental coordinators, yard personnel, technicians, and delivery personnel.

Oversee all equipment purchases, ROI tracking, transfers, revenue tracking, re-rents, and quality control issues pertaining to the rental fleet.

Establish monthly store meetings to discuss marketing, reviews and objectives, safety concerns, store performance, customer service needs and concerns, and training.

Evaluate employees at least two times per year on performance objectives.

Work with General Manager in establishing business plans, business reviews, and fleet planning.

Manage the actual revenue/profit performance versus business plan. Business plan being the primary minimum objective.

Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly supervises two to ten employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding, coaching, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving concerns.
