Life coach + Adult Swim Teacher

Orca Swim School is looking to hire and train people who want to apply growth mindset and positive habit-building tools of brain training to adult learning to swim. Our teaching curriculum is on the leading edge of using cognitive therapy, trauma reduction, and shame-free tools to create swimmers that are safe and can enjoy the freedom and wonder that water offers.

Candidates must be able to:

Certify as a Lifeguard

Complete online and in-person training

Be highly reliable and responsible

Enjoy learning and being adaptable

Work independently

Confident in deep water

Understand the concepts of institutional racism and bias

About this job:

Part-time up to 80 hours/month

Teach at a hotel and/or private pools

Work with small groups and private lessons in 3-4 hours shifts

Continue training with the main office located in Seattle, WA

Network with the local community to build a client base
