Your New Role

Wecurrently have a great opportunity for aChange/ReleaseManager to join

our team at Leidos.Working in a fast-paced collaborative environment, you will provide change process leadership to a number of multi-disciplined agile product teams sustaining mission systems that deliver value directly to the warfighter.This role will own the end-to-end change and release management process and be responsible for the ongoing smooth operations of this

process, ensuring:

  • Effective end-to-end Change and Release management across a complex organisational and technical environment
  • Governance activities

    are carried out in accordance with approved Plans and Procedures
  • Facilitation of Change reviews and approvals via internal and external Change Control Boards
  • Facilitation of the Forward Schedule of Change and assessing scheduling impacts to promote timely delivery and to avoid

    resourcing and deployment conflicts
  • Identification & implementation of continual service improvements to the Change & Release Process

Qualifications

About You and What You'll Bring

You will have considerable experience working closely with engineering and software development teams who deliver and support ICT solutions within a Defence environment.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a related discipline, and/or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • ITIL V3 Foundation Certification. ITIL Certified ICT Practitioner Certification (desirable).
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in Defence or similarindustry preferred.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL Processes and how Change Management integrates with the other ITIL Processes.
  • Configuration management experience desirable.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills to identify issues and potential solutions.
  • Strong presentation, engagement & communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Inquisitive attitude, and willing to ask if there is a better way of operating.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve deliverables and positive outcomes.
  • Proven strong collaboration skills and

    an ability work proactively with technical staff, management,end users and other stakeholders to ensure that value is delivered to end users in a timely way.
