The Pool Attendant assists guests with aquatic needs and supplies. In addition the Pool Attendant performs special projects for the Wellness Staff and does so without disrupting any of the daily functions of the pool, hotel or without disturbing guests. The Pool Attendant provides sincere service through actions that display self-confidence, grace and courtesy to guests and colleagues.

Essential Functions:

Assists guests with the appropriate use of aquatics facility

Works unsupervised and maintains the highest quality standards in the pool area

Monitors the pool area and replenishes all amenities offered

Completes work projects as assigned by supervisor and managers

Provides assistance and direction to our guests when necessary

Identifies and reports all maintenance issues

Reports articles left behind to Lost and Found

Upholds all safety standards of Spruce Peak

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Prior hotel or hospitality experience preferred

Excellent communication skills

Technical proficiency (basic computer applications)

Attention to detail

Customer service experience

Understanding of Spa and Wellness

Solid judgment and ability to resolve conflicts effectively

Operate effectively in stressful situations

Flexible schdule to include both weekend days and holidays as well as evening shifts to include 12pm-8pm and 2pm to 10pm.

The Spa at Spruce Peak. Formally The Spa at Stowe Mountain Lodge and now a part of the Hyatt Independent Collection. A 21,000 square foot experience on 3 levels. Created to be a journey thru nature, our river-like pathways and peaceful water features give you a sense of serenity. By nature, we all aspire to be healthy. At The Spa at Spruce Peak we encourage you to discover new experiences by taking time to relax your mind, heal your body, refresh your soul and reconnect with yourself.

In each of our locker rooms you will find all the basic amenities, including our Spa Healing Lodges. This unique room has a dry sauna, herbal steam, Jacuzzi, and a “rain panel” - the combination of using all four of these elements is intended to create balance both physically and emotionally in an environment, designed to detoxify, heal, and balance the mind, body, and soul. Based on the healing traditions of hot/cold therapy, you will be provided with an opportunity to begin a “journey” of healing before or after your spa services.

Our coed Sanctuary lounge will allow you to decompress before and after your treatments. As part of The Green Spa Network we work with local and sustainable companies to bring you a relaxing setting that overlooks Mount Mansfield, Vermont’s highest peak.

On the upper level of The Spa you will find our 18 Spa Treatment Rooms; these spaces will have you, Glow, Dream, Serenity, Relax in The Rain, and find Peace. And our full Hair & Nail Salon will help you bring out your inner beauty.

Please also plan on relaxing poolside in our heated outdoor pool and two outdoor Jacuzzis.
