The Bell Attendant creates the Spruce Peak experience by providing efficient bell and valet services that meet and exceed all lodge standards. In addition, the Bell Attendant provides information to all guests, fellow employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.

Essential Functions:

Warmly welcomes and recognizes all guests

Responsible for retrieving and parking all guest vehicles upon guest arrival and departure

Uses guest preferences and information to ensure a high level of guest recognition and personalized service

Maintains an up-to-date working knowledge of all lodge and resort amenities, as well as any special events

Communicates all pertinent information to the Guest Service Coordinator and department managers

Acknowledges guest preferences for future visits, wishes each guest a warm farewell and invites them back

Answers the telephone in a professional manner and assist guests with any questions, directions to the property etc.

Is able to communicate verbally and in writing in English

Is a team player and interacts with all guests and fellow Associates in a positive and friendly manner

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Prior hotel or hospitality experience preferred

Excellent communication skills

Attention to detail

Customer service experience

Ability to multi-task

Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

Flexible schedule which included both weekend days and holidays.

Must be 18 years of age or older.
