Basically, we are seeking a college graduate, or a former military/contracting admin, or someone that has experience working on government contract proposals to help us with the rapid growth of a very busy Government Contracting company. We are flexible; if you have experience we can use then send in your resume.
The President/CEO is extraordinarily busy and requires support in a variety of areas. If you have experience in some of the areas below and would like to build a career with this rapidly growing company, we would like to hear from you. This is a growth position; the ideal candidate will stay for several years and pursue opportunities for advancement in those areas that excite them.
REQUIRED - Ability to obtain Secret clearance; active clearance preferred.
REQUIRED – Bachelor’s degree from a Regionally Accredited university, or significant military or civilian experience in a majority of the categories below.
The more categories you have the better, but you will almost certainly NOT have experience in all of them. That’s okay – let us know what you DO have:
Priority – Admin Office management - government, military or civilian Government Contracting management, support, or development experience in any capacity
Priority - Facility Security Officer experience
Priority - Proposal preparation – Bid and Proposal support
Priority - HR – mostly recruiting and salary research
Priority - Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Priority - Familiarity with JPAS and/or DISS
Tracking and correcting timecard and expense reports
Preparing and tracking invoices on government contracts
Interacting with customer liaisons to ensure open lines of communication
Monitor and maintain qualification requirements for our special programs and certifications
Project Management
Program Management – PMP certification not required
Technical writing
Executive Assistant duties – manage the CEO’s day-to-day, calendar and deliverables
REQUIRED - Ability to obtain Secret clearance; active clearance preferred.
Experience using Sharepoint or Microsoft Access
Strong analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, with a high attention to detail
High ethical standards and professional conduct
Participates with corporate level staff in preparation, review and pricing of major proposals for the business operations.
This is a front-facing position and requires a professional appearance and demeanor. Dress code is office professional.
This position is not available for telecommuting. You will be required to be at the office M-F, 40 hours per week at the Virginia Beach corporate headquarters.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Management or related discipline is highly desired. Educational requirements may be adjusted for applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.
Must be extremely detail oriented, have strong time management skills and able to juggle many responsibilities at once.
Security Clearance:
A U.S. Government clearance is not required to start, but you will be processed for a Secret level clearance and therefore you must be a U.S. Citizen in order to be hired.
The salary range is very wide - but the more qualified you are, and the more qualifications you have; the higher your title and salary. We have the usual benefits; health, 401k, vacation/PTO, tuition assistance, nine paid federal holidays, etc.
