To achieve this mission, Client built a set of products & programs and works/partners with telecom operators and device manufacturers across the world. ClientThe Mobile and Connectivity Partnerships team brings those programs into the market in different regions. The team has three major functions:Strategic Partner Managers who act as account managers and are responsible for everything related to particular partners/telecom operatorData Science / Partner Strategist team that offer analytical consulting support for analytics tools we provide to partnersProgram Management function that builds scalable frameworks and methodologies for the programs and bridges the gap between partner managers and XFN/product teamsThe Program Manager role sits within the Program Management function. The role will cover Connectivity programs globally, coordinating the activities related to Client initiatives, and provide support to the North America, Satellite and Infra OEM teams and provide support to the connectivity partner managers deployed in the regions.The main initiatives this individual work on are the following, but the scope can increase as more solutions are brought to market:Wifi ProgramsTerragraphMagmaRural and Satellite initiativesTSS and Other connectivity programs on an as needed basisEvenstarMavericScope of the Role:Pre/post launch management support: When partner managers need to launch this program, they will need special support from the Program Manager. After the program launch, Program Manager will also help partner managers to do monthly check-ins to share the performance of the program with the partners.Facilitate and coordinate activities between Product/XFN teams and the partnerships team: The main goal of this role is to offload partner managers from coordination activities that can be centralized for scale. Also, for any partner insights, requests or escalations from partner managers to the internal product or XFN teams, the program manager will bring them to the relevant teams to share insights and troubleshoot issues.Build & Manage Scalable Systems for Programs: The program manager will lead building and managing scalable systems for each program to track the progress and identify opportunities/risks proactively and coordinate these activities between teams and regionsThought Partner for Partner Strategy: As we manage multiple programs with partners, the program manager will be a thought partner for partner managers to shape the partner strategy with a holistic point of view across all programs.Offload activities from Partner Managers for efficiency: On this domain, the program manager will coordinate strategy sessions, templating, support creation and execution of account plans, Contract management, track goals and dependenciesRequirements:Bachelor degree with at least 5 years of experience as a project or program manager Excellent organizational skills, being able to multi-task and structure different initiatives and projects Meet deadlines, work cross functionally and collaboratively with different teams Good interpersonal skills, with proven experience working with internal and external partners Microsoft office knowledge, and good presentation skills A desire to learn, and passionate about social contributions bringing people online Knowledge of telecommunications is desirable but not essential One thing to call out explicitly is that we prefer the candidates who have worked in the connectivity infrastructure or have knowledge about it. However, I understand this could be difficult so it''s not "required".
