Business Process Engineer is responsible for the development and improvement of ARC’s internal business processes and establishment of a continuous improvement culture at ARC. This position is responsible for developing, leading, planning, standardizing, and directing business process improvement and waste elimination activities to ensure business continuity and operational excellence throughout ARC's functional areas. The Business Process Engineer works with the leadership teams across all ARC functional areas to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement efforts by developing and improving processes and providing coaching and feedback to ARC employees.This is a ground up improvement role in an engineering and manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Developing an overall business-wide process strategy within the organization.
  • The design and development of the continuous improvement business systems, tools, and methodologies to be used through the organization.
  • Training, teaching, coaching and leading people through Lean concepts and methodologies in all levels of the organization.

Key Attributes Needed
  • A technical background which allows for an appreciation, but not necessarily a practitioner, of the various technologies at ARC, electrical design, mechanical design, software design, manufacturing.
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma
  • A tenacious change agent.

Qualifications
  • BS in a technical degree.
  • Six Sigma certified.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills – able to train, coach and influence all personalities through the organization through Lean transformation.
  • High proficiency in MSOffice applications.
  • Experience with an MRP system is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ISO:9001 is a plus
  • 5-10 years’ experience in manufacturing operations management – low volume high mix environments preferred.
  • 5+ years in a Lean Process leadership role.
  • Experience as a Kaizen leader.
