Title: Data Analytics & Engineering - Data Analyst II Location: Menlo Park, CA Duration: 7/26/2021 - 1/25/2022Job Description:Sourcing Analyst - Creative Advertising MarketingWe are seeking a Sourcing Analyst that will work closely with the Strategic Sourcing Managers in the Marketing Advertising Category to maintain, analyze, and optimize our data reporting across our categories (along with creating dynamic presentations to read out metrics via PPT Decks or Tableau Dashboards).Location: San Francisco, Fremont or Austin is preferred. Remote work is also available.Duration: Extension and conversion may be possible in the future depending on budget and performance.Experience needed: AT LEAST 2+ years of strong analytical and project management experience.Team Culture: Close team that partners with stakeholders to provide strategic perspective and set global strategy for Creative, Production + Marketing Professional Services across Client. The team has in depth experience in supplier/agency capabilities, supplier segmentation, agency selection and management, planning and leading negotiations, and sourcing strategy development.MUST HAVE:•Analytical analysis and project management skills are the top priority.•Comfortable navigating big data, offering analysis and connecting dots.•Must be extremely proficient in Excel•Other critical database programs include, but are not limited to: Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, etc.•Must BE A SELF STARTER WITH EXPERIENCE IN TECHNOLOGY/FAST PACED ENVIRONMENTS.•Business acumen and the ability to learn and quickly develop subject matter expertise Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills; detail-orientation; excellent follow through.•Ability to effectively communicate results from research and analysis both verbally and in writing to team and other key stakeholders demonstrating command of all facts.•Must be flexible under changing priorities and consistently work within time critical deadlines while maintaining a strong emphasis on accuracy•BONUS: Sourcing + Contracts category knowledge across Creative, Production, Media, Digital, Brand Marketing, etc).Additional Notes:•This role and scope is exciting and pivotal to the direction of Client; CW will be involved with exciting work at Client that will reshape how we report out metrics within the creative + production categories at Client They will be handling several ad-hoc analytic requests and work with many suppliers/agencies across marketing to track and provide executive roll-ups on how the spend is and the result. They will identify opportunities to optimize the way sourcing provides data insights for our organization, stakeholders, and suppliers/agencies.•This role requires a highly analytical self-starter with high stamina, and someone who will be comfortable with ambiguity within a fast paced environment.Education/Experience:•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent analytics training required.Interview Process:•First Interview will be with the Hiring Manager After the first Interview, a case study may be given.•An additional interview will follow with one (1) of the four (4) team membersResponsibilities:•Specific project work and source-to-pay activities may vary, including data collection, data analysis, PPT presentation building, Tableau Dashboard building, etc.•Willingness to also support the Global Sourcing team with updating spreadsheets, building presentations, analyzing reports, and other similar tasks.•Analyze spend and other data, monitor purchasing activity, manage benchmarking and reporting.•Liaise with internal business partners and cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and goals/KPIs for agencies/suppliers.•Coordinate and support sourcing projects, including data gathering, obtaining quotes, examining proposals, and analyzing agency/supplier proposals.•Support special project requests across multiple marketing organizations.•Partner with Procurement Operations to resolve issues.Requirements:•2+ years experience in an analytics/analyst role (sourcing experience is preferred).•Experience analyzing spend data and taxonomy development.•EXPERT understanding of pivot tables, depicting complex data with charts, and uncovering insights.•Experience managing stakeholder and supplier relationships.•Ability to flourish in an environment of fast growth and complexity.•Able to prioritize and use available tools to be highly productive and manage heavy workloads.•Highly motivated.•Ability to interact with employees at all levels, develop cooperative working partnerships and contribute to teams.•Bachelors' degree required.•Background in business, supply chain, analytics, or sourcing preferred.•Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.•Microsoft Excel, Word, PPT, Google Sheets, and Tableau skills.•Experience with eSourcing and procurement tools preferred.
