Our client, a software development/digital transformation agency based in Irvine, is supporting enterprise customers with their leading edge, web technology initiatives. With a goal to introducing new platforms, next generation web applications, and mobile development, they undertake proofs of concept that become custom software development services. They want to hire a JavaScript Developer to join their team of highly skilled software engineers on a direct hire/full time basis.This role is mostly remote with 1 day/week onsite in their Irvine, CA office.The JavaScript Developer will have strong problem-solving abilities and a demonstrated knowledge of application architecture. The development work will primarily focus on web application development using heavy JavaScript and AngularJS. Must have demonstrated and relevant experience working on large enterprise, consumer facing applications and websites.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Effectively serve as a member of Agile/Scrum software development team
- Translate designs and requirements into high quality code
- Build and organize development workflows to optimize code delivery and efficiency
- Work collaboratively with the technical team on application architecture strategy
- Write technical specification documents
- Participate in code and design reviews
- A Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a computer related field.
- Minimum 5 years of web application development experience
- Expert in vanilla JavaScript
- Experience developing Single Page Applications
- CSS3 using Less or SASS
- Angular.JS experience
- NodeJS with Express
- Experience with enterprise application development
- Knowledgeable in Isomorphic JavaScript concepts and solutions
- AWS Lambda
- Server Side Rendering
