Ciber is searching for a Desktop Support Specialist for an opportunity in Georgetown, DE! As a Desktop Support Specialist, you'll be motivated to supports in-house teams and respond to in-person to helpdesk tickets. You'll work out of Georgetown DE with frequent travel to Milford and Dover (not reimbursed). You'll diagnose, support, and track IT incidents, and provide hands-on PC and peripheral equipment troubleshooting, repair, and installation. Do you have what it takes? - 3+ yrs providing IT support for hardware & software
- Supporting Window Servers (physical & virtual)
- Supporting Windows 7 and/or 10
- Supporting Linux
+ Experience with at least ONE of the following: - supporting MAC
- supporting mobile (Android, iOS, other mobile devices)
- SCCM
- BigFix
- MDT
- KACE SMA
- OS patching
- Hyper Kitty
- Powershell
- UNIX scripting
Day-to-day responsibilities are not limited to - Execute Service Desk contact, problem, incident, and request management policies and procedures.
- Diagnosis, troubleshooting, and tracking of all computer-related incidents.
- Escalate problems and incidents to designated level 2 and level 3 help desk support personnel
- Reporting incident status and system outage notifications
- Logging incidents and problem resolution activities into a computerized tracking system.
- Maintain a robust and accurate knowledge base repository.
- Provide hands-on PC and peripheral equipment troubleshooting, repair, and installation support.
- Generate help desk-related performance statistics, as required.
- Train support staff, as required.
- Travel to Dover, DE, and Milford, DE to provide support as needed?
