- Work collaboratively with teams of product managers, engineers, designers, and researchers to deliver vital information for our developer population
- Teach, both directly and by example, the Docs As Code approach to product managers and engineers
- Plan, write, edit, test and improve content, particularly developer reference and how-to topics for internal libraries and APIs
- Use content style guides and standards for the creation and curation of content
- Ensure that project content meets standards of quality, measured in terms of usability and consistency
- Assess content efforts for requests and help clarify deliverables
- 5+ years professional experience in writing for a software developer audience. Coding experience is a plus
- Must be competent with Git, Markdown, static site generators, and working from the command line
- Candidate can provide samples of their work, or content of a similar nature
- A natural communicator, able to build, curate, edit and align information while also being systematic problem solver with a solid grounding in content organization
- Experienced in writing and revising content, and sourcing and aggregating content.
- Proficient with both high-level strategy and hands-on writing and editing for and with developers
- Experience writing for a global audience
- Enjoy working on multiple projects at the same time
