Windows Driver Software Engineer for Malware ApplicationsWe are looking for a strong Software Engineer to join our team working on an Enterprise Malware Analysis application doing Windows driver work and Malware research.This position requires extensive knowledge of the Windows kernel, strong driver development skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and debug legacy code independently. The ideal candidate is also experienced in working hands-on with malware - you will be tasked with picking apart malicious files, identifying their malicious behaviors, and coding solutions that are able to proactively detect against future variants. You will work within an existing framework in order to support legacy features, while also having the freedom to research new capabilities and drive product innovations that will improve our system’s malware-detection efficacy.Job Description:- Implement new features to aid in the detection of novel malware.
- Ensure compatibility with new Windows releases.
- Assist Broadcom threat analysts in triaging advanced malware threats.
- Assume full responsibility for building, packaging, and deploying the component.
Required Skills and Education- Excellent programming in C/C and python
- At least 3-5 years of Windows driver development experience
- Expert knowledge of Windows fundamentals, APIs, and data structures
- Experience working with malware (OR a desire to learn)
- Experience with Windows Filtering Platform
- Knowledge of API hooking techniques
- Ability to reverse engineer Windows binaries
- Bachelors or Masters of Computer Science or equivalent
- Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
