Your key responsibilities will include working across a diverse team of lab scientists and IT professionals to coordinate the migration from Windows 7 to Windows 10 enterprise.Additional responsibilities will include assisting with other gRED IT roadmap initiatives, as needed. You will join a growing LEAP team with a variety of skills and experiences in both technology and life sciences. Together you will have the opportunity to shape and build a modern R&D environment that propels Genentech's drug development ambitions. Responsibilities:Assist with the collection of computer inventory materials from laboratory managers, coordinate with laboratory managers to schedule migrations Assist with the migration of gRED lab computers from Win7 to Win10, collaborate with lab managers who have computers with storage issues and help remediate Provide project coordination and business analysis for various applications using meeting facilitation to determine needs and develop solutions Ability to follow established processes and the ability to identify, recommend, and implement opportunities for streamlining team and business processes Create and/or assist with required project documentation practices such as user requirements, epics/users stories, functional specs, communication, testing, deployment, and support plans Serve as Project Lead or Scrum Master depending on the project execution methodologySkills: Successful candidates will have many of the following attributes:2+ years of IT project coordination experienceA professional focus on solution delivery and customer service White glove level interpersonal skills in order to successfully communicate with laboratory managers in working around their schedules to facilitate the migrations Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to coordinate with project teams and stakeholders such as, scientist, IT architects, tech leads, project managers and business analysts Previous experience working in life sciences or drug development preferred Strong end user skills with the Google suite of products (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, etc.)EXCELLENT VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS INVENTORY MICROSOFT WINDOWS
