PSCI has a
F5 Security Specialist contract role for a client in Dover, DE. The F5 Security Specialist should have strong ASM or APM experience and iRules design and implementation. They must be able to reverse-proxy complex and legacy applications and enable different kinds of single sign-on experiences through F5. Strong knowledge in API security controls and web services protections is strongly preferred. Contractor will be tested as part of hiring process and must be able to work independently.Work location: Initially remote but starting to go back on-site in Dover.Term: 1 year with likely extensionMinimum of 5 years of technical experience in one or more of the core technical requirements and related product support in a 24x7 operational environment. Experience should include installation and configuration, version testing, debugging, installation of patches, direct technical vendor interactions, tuning and disaster recovery. Specific technical components and/or skills required for each of the Technology Domains are listed below.- Web Application Firewall – management and policy rules; F5 experience is required, specifically in the following modules and features:
- ASM – Advanced Security Manager - Required
- LTM - Required
- APM – Advanced Policy Manager – Preferred
- SSL Orchestration - Preferred
- API integration experience is required
- Process and workflow automation and scripting using languages like Perl, and/or shell is preferred
- Understanding of common network and web protocols is required
- Understanding of and experience in mitigating application security threats including the OWASP Top 10 is preferred
- Web application development and/or administration experience is preferred
- Windows Server Operating System and Security experience is preferred
- Linux and Unix Server and Security experience is preferred
- Experience with DevSecOps/DevOps and CI/CD pipeline automation is preferred
- Web Engineering systems security – WebSphere, Apache, IHS, WebTrends, XML is preferred
- Splunk or other SIEM experience preferred
- Okta or other IAM integration experience preferred
