What does a great Quality Assurance Engineer do?Fiserv is seeking Quality Assurance Engineer with a proven track-record that can bring the passion, work ethic and expertise needed to lead a strong quality engineering team. This is a role focused on streamlining the processes, setting testing standards, and delivering best-in-class functionality and usability, with high quality, at a competitive velocity, mentoring team members and driving both waterfall and agile product delivery across multiple teams. The group includes teams that are responsible for both front-end and backend components across our Issuer Solutions Organization.Working in partnership with application development and business, you will establish strategic and operational testing technology best practices and processes to effectively and efficiently manage incoming demand of work, as well as, ensure successful implementation of software releases, ensure balance of capacity planning and forecasting of team tasks.As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will,

  • Drive Quality Practices and Standards across the Organization
  • Champion the culture of quality delivery through development engineering and product management
  • Lead and Mentor large Distributed QE Team
  • Drive growth and standards of Automated Testing Practices
  • Create testing plans, including individual testing phases, and ensure the team meets the deadlines set forth in those plans .
  • Identifies risk and creates plans to mitigate it .
  • Track and report on all quality metrics at team, process and production operating levels
  • Make data-driven recommendations to enhance operational excellence, leading the implementation of new processes and activities
  • Process-oriented mindset and high degree of familiarity with modern test technologies and tools
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
  • Degree in CS, Engineering or other technical/analytical degree, preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience with functional and automation testing.
  • 4+ years of related technical leadership experience with technical discipline
  • 4+ years of management in leading large teams using various SDLC methodologies, i.e., Agile/Waterfall
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written and interpersonal) including the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong experience in Credit and Debit Card Issuing platforms.
  • Strong experience in development of CI/CD or DevOps Testing Models
  • Must have experience in leading test automation initiatives
  • Ability to contribute and direct at all levels of testing including unit, functional, automation, performance and scalability testing; be able to step in and provide leadership in test design and implementation
