- Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and cost.
- Communicate expectations in accordance with the Project Plan to align stakeholders and Project Team members.
- Measure project performance to identify and quantify variances and then perform the required corrective actions.
- Execute tasks as defined in the Project Plan.
- Create a project organization structure by defining roles and responsibilities.
- Identify and mitigate risk impacts on the project.
- Assist the organization with transferring to an Agile methodology.
- Worked as a dedicated professional towards meeting project deadlines in a timely manner.
- Record detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders to establish the project deliverables, using various requirement-gathering techniques (e.g., planning sessions, brainstorming, focus groups).
- Improve team performance by leading, mentoring, training, motivating, and building team cohesiveness.
- 5 years of Project Management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a project using a variety of methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, etc.).
- Experience working in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of IT systems, governance, and compliance.
- Experience transferring an organization into an Agile methodology.
- Experience with third-party system support.
- Ability to work within broadly defined parameters with quickly shifting priorities.
- Ability to drive results effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
- Experience with conversions and implementations.
- Knowledge of Annuities & Life Insurance products.
- Knowledge of project management tools and software including PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, JIRA, etc.
- Ability to travel a minimum of 10% of the time (domestic U.S. travel only).
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or similar designation.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Certification.
