Technical Training Designers are responsible for designing, developing and executing online training, materials and resources utilized within Paycom's Development department and onboarding new hires.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with Development Department Leaders, stakeholders, subject matter experts and Technical Training Designers.
  • Develop, maintain and deliver training materials, content, resources and curricula on defined subject matter, processes and technologies.
  • Assist with the selection and development of training aids such as, but not limited to, videos, quizzes, handouts, third party learning portals, presentations.
  • Conduct onboarding for Development Department New Hires.
  • Assist with maintaining Training paths and specific content for new and existing roles/positions.
  • Utilize Paycom Learning for administering at a minimum course development, student enrollment, student progress and position-learning paths.
  • Provide additional learning content and resources/videos as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification:
  • Bachelors Degree

Experience Preferred:
  • Video editing on any platform
  • 1 year of experience in content design for a small to medium training organization.

SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective interpersonal, collaboration and listening skills to understand client needs.
  • Strong research skills including gathering and analyzing information from a variety of resources (subject matter experts, project managers) to develop content and training materials.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills.
  • Ability to create unique relevant content.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, to switch tasks quickly.
  • Detail oriented.
