Job DescriptionSeeking a highly motivated and qualified .Net, C#, MVC, Agile application developer. The successful candidate will join a dynamic Agile project team developing and supporting a mission critical application which distributes empty rail cars. A positive attitude with a focus on results, excellent communication skills, proven analytical skills, the ability to work successfully with business partners and effective participation in a team environment are key to this position. This position will require 24x7 support of a mission critical application on a rotating basis. Education4-yr college degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or MathematicsResponsibilities
- Develop system requirements based on user stories
- Develop high quality code based on detailed designs that meet requirements
- Create comprehensive documentation, conduct thorough testing, and follow defined change control processes.
- Provide support for a mission critical application
- Effectively communicate with end-users, co-workers, managers, and other stakeholders
- Demonstrate a high level of initiative and attention to detail during daily operations
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Object Oriented design and full stack application development utilizing C# .Net, MVC
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in application design and development using SQL and a relational database such as IBM DB2, Oracle or MS SQL Server
- Experience working with WCF, WebAPI, SOAP and RESTFUL models
- Agile Scrum experience with user story analysis, design, coding to acceptance criteria, unit testing, documentation, implementation
- Experience with application build and deployment tools, such as GitHub and Jenkins
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience conducting Code Reviews
- Excellent customer support skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with testing utilizing xUnit or other tools
- Experience with Jira
- Experience with Tricentis testing tool
- Experience with SSO, encryption, authentication or authorization
