On-Call Field Technicians are needed in the NYC/NJ area. Responsibilities vary, but will include data center skills as well as some help desk/desktop support.
Hours vary as well as days of the week.This is a great way to supplement your income, or to pick up some evening or weekend work. Or a retiree who wants to work part-time.DAY SHIFTS AVAILABLE.The technician will assist with desktop/network install/decommission and Break/ Fix tickets within the tri-state area. This work will be conducted during normal business hours, as well as nights and weekends. These work tickets could include the following:- Knowledge of POS hardward/software
- Desktop/Laptop/ VDI/ Monitor and peripheral installs
- Cable Infrastructure Patching (must know fiber cabling)
- Rack & Stack of network devices
- Decommission of network/server devices
- Cisco phone installations- Troubleshoot Cisco switches, power supplies, line cords, etc.
- Power Disconnect & Parts Inventory Property
