If you are not interested but know someone who might be, please feel free to forward this info.Job Title: AWS Solution ArchitectLocation: Primarily Remote work (Client is located in Hartford, CT - Travel expenses paid)Duration: 16+ months contract to hireUnited States Citizen only due to Federal ClientSkill Requirements- AWS Solution Architect- In depth expertise in big data schemas, frameworks (Spark, Hadoop, AWS Kinesis,), databases (NoSQL, AWS Aurora), Data Warehouses (like AWS Redshift)Qualifying Questions- Are they a ?- Do they have all the skills identified?- Do you have prior experiance working in an Agile environment?Description Of Services- We are looking for a AWS Solution Architect to join our Cloud Engineering team, with proven expertise in cloud native development.- You will work with project managers, in an Agile, DevOps environment.- Experience with Agile ceremonies, estimation, planning.Deliverables- You will map complex implementations to customer use cases and communicate clearly to non-technical users- You excel in detailed design for delivery teams and you will lead by example to globally distributed teams of software engineers- Documenting system level functionality (physical / logical diagrams, sequence diagrams, requirements)Acceptance Criteria- Bachelors or masterâs degree in Engineering or Computer Science a plus- At least 10-15 yearsâ experience in leading software design- At least 3 years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)- In depth expertise in big data schemas, frameworks (Spark, Hadoop, AWS Kinesis,), databases (NoSQL, AWS Aurora), data warehouses (like AWS Redshift)- Expertise in full stack development using Java , py programming languages- Sound knowledge and experience in AWS Well-Architected Framework that can meet the standards of aerospace engineering- Experience in big data modernization projects , like oracle to cloud database migrations- Mentor team members in sound development practices like unit and regression testing- Experience with Agile ceremonies, estimation, planning.Regards,Gavin
