Cyber Threat Hunter

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cyber Threat Hunter for a permanent opportunity in Washington, DC. This position requires an active Top Secret clearance.Responsibilities of the Cyber Threat Hunter: • Actively hunt for IOC and APT TTPs • Analyze network flow, PCAP, logs, and sensors • Collaborate with the SOC and threat analysts to investigate major incidents • Participate in hardening of security posture • Monitor open source and commercial threat intelligence for new IOCs, vulnerabilities, etc.Requirements for the Cyber Threat Hunter: • Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI • 6 years of cybersecurity experience • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field • Strength in computer networking and operating systems • Experience in SOC, IR, malware analysis, or IDS/IPS analysis • Experience in network hunting, PCAP, Bro, Snort, etc.Compensation for the Cyber Threat Hunter: • $100,000-120,000 annual salary • Full benefits: medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k, PTO, paid holidays
