Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in need of a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer in Pasadena, CA.Responsibilities of the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer: The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will focus is software quality assurance function Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer you will prepare technical appraisals of programming languages and systems, computational software, and related technology The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer ensures the quality integration of computers is in the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition transmission, and processing As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software Consults with development engineers in resolution of problemsREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, Master's degree is a plus 5+ years of software testing experience Familiar with Microsoft stack as well as Open Source technology Fluent in testing several of the following language/platforms/libraries: C#, .Net, ASP.Net, SQL Experience with Microsoft SQL server Experience with RabbitMQ, Redis, or other similar technologies a plus Strong understanding and experience in writing test plans, test cases, including automation around web service such as REST, SOAP, and XML/JSON business object representations Experience creating automation using SOAP UI/Ready API for test API's utilizing REST architecture is a must Experience with API gateway solutions such as MuleSoft or Azure API gateway is desired Experience in testing integrating API solutions with third party Identity Management solutions is preferred Ability to handle fast-paced environment for iterative project turnarounds on mission & revenue critical, customer-facing applications Agile Development methodologies such as Scrum and Extreme ProgrammingKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
