Job Description A Database Engineer designs, develops, tests, and maintains systems, applications, networks, and related processes to meet the functional objectives of the business. Assesses system, application, network, provides modeling and simulation consulting to clarify client technology functionality, and evaluates and implement new advanced technologies. Ensures adherence to established technology standards and consults with senior leadership on technology solutions. Supports existing systems and is responsible for leading technical aspects of a project. Responsible for assigning resources and delegating tasks to meet project deliverables.With more than 1,200 associates in nine primary locations, Fiserv Card Services authorizes and settles point-of-sale (POS) and ATM transactions, monitors and drives ATMs, provides nationwide switching of debit, credit, prepaid and ATM transactions, and owns the Accel Network.We provide analytic services from our data warehousing platform which currently requires modernization. We will need to migrate data from one platform to another platform which requires a strong ETL/SQL Reporting Skillset to take the challenges presented.
