This position will be responsible for supporting the strategic vision of the Sr. Manager of E-Commerce and establishing a best-in class digital presence for Holiday Inn Club Vacations. As the E-Commerce Sr. Specialist, they will ensure development, implementation, and quality assurance of the organization’s digital presence. They will utilize their knowledge of web technologies, techniques and best practices to participate and support in the overall development and execution of the tactical business plans and E-Commerce strategy.They will manage the ongoing maintenance of our various websites, working closely with the performance marketing strategy team, SEM specialist and IT, to ensure cohesion and alignment of the organization’s key initiatives. Finally, this individual will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and quality assurance of new digital and website features to support business needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS
  • Participate in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans with other members of the cross functional team supporting the overarching eCommerce strategy.
  • Manage and oversee the ongoing QA and maintenance of web development and content production, ensuring an efficient, accurate and timely execution of code and content releases across the websites and online marketing campaigns that adheres to brand standards, website best practices and ADA guidelines.
  • Create, manage and enhance digital content within the CMS and other digital platforms to optimize sites and implement best practices.
  • Perform constant cross functional communication and collaboration with CRM team and IT partners to ensure consumer, product and analytic data is properly being collected, passed and stored through digital properties.
  • Assist in managing the creation and maintenance of new digital and website features to support business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Relevant 4-year degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience relating to web content management systems.
  • Experience and advanced proficiency with content management systems, browser applications, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), social media, mobile and web analytics tools.
  • Knowledge in HTML and markdown.
  • Ability to manage and set client expectations throughout digital asset lifecycles to ensure consistency and quality in deliverables.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage concurrent projects, work in a fast-paced and complex environment, execute large projects, and work under multiple and competing deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail for managing quality assurance, usability/user experience, and performance testing, and final approval across all verticals.
  • Work collaboratively with website staff, cross-functional teams and partners/vendors to maintain organizational website assets.
