TITLE: Product Manager, HR Systems

LOCATION: Denver, CO

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACTSeeking a smart and creative Product Manager with hands on experience in the field of Human Resources. We are looking for someone who has a passion for building great products and the natural instincts for making decisions that lead to highly useable software. This professional self-starter will report to the Sr. Manager of Applications and Development and work closely with the Human Resource, Payroll and Benefits teams to manage the Product Lifecycle of our HR Systems. This role will be charged with leading game changing efforts within the company’s IT Product team for new and existing solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving problems and delivering user friendly solutions.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Working with IT and HR leadership, define the product strategy and manage the roadmap for the HR System(s) including documenting strategy, maintaining feature/enhancement backlog and coordinating release/updates
  • Analyze various product inputs, requirements, design solutions and develop business cases for new product development and enhancements
  • Prepare software design plans and use case documentation for product and process changes
  • Work closely with internal and external resources to define system requirements that meet the changing needs of our growing environment to ensure scalability and end user satisfaction
  • Ensure projects and enhancements are delivered on time and risks associated with timelines/deliverables are clearly communicated
  • Participate in the procurement, installation, and configuration of new software application(s) to align with the company’s operational goals
  • Create processes and protocols for the software systems including managing server and computer upgrades, and troubleshooting problems
  • Manage the lifecycle of the HR Systems including the day to day operations and support needs of the HR team
  • SME for all HR Systems functionality, processes and integrations

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Manager or Application Manager preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an HR environment managing HRIS/HRMS, such as Ceridian Dayforce, ADP, Kronos or Ultimate
  • Excellent work planning and execution/delivery skills including problem-solving, prioritization, and task-level management
  • Flexibility to adjust quickly and effectively to frequent change and altered priorities in a sometimes-ambiguous work environment
  • Highly energetic, self-motivated, approachable, and articulate team player
  • Demonstrates the ability to design and develop products based on interpretation and evaluation of business data
  • Good problem-solving skills: able to anticipate and recognize problems, diagnose root causes and take corrective action to prevent recurrences
  • Attention to detail; extraordinary eye for usability and end user experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management skills, tools and processes in areas such as timeline, cost, and risk management
  • Ability to read, write and understand instructions given orally, in writing and/or in diagram form
  • Ability to effectively communicate with executives, management, suppliers, customers, employees and commercial accounts in a wide range of situations.
  • Ability to effectively present information orally in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, and employees and if necessary, the general public
