Overview:We are seeking an

Analytics Developer with a strong statistical modeling skillset to help us build advanced, readiness reporting software from the ground-up.

Alexandria, VA office located in the Mark Center.

The Analytics Developer's key responsibilities will include:
  • Turning innovative analytical concepts into working readiness software solutions
  • Contributing to the overall architecture of an existing large enterprise software system and the implementation of new, knowledge graph-based software, data pipelines, and APIs.
  • Collaborating with government leaders and other technical teams to translate operational requirements into innovative solutions that support senior DOD decision makers.

Required education, skills & experience:
  • An BA/BS in a field such as Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or Computer Science, or Data Science combined with at least five years of hand-on, professional experience (will consider a minimum of eight years’ equivalent technical experience in lieu of advanced degree).
  • Knowledge of computer programming, data modeling, statistics, and advanced analytical methods.
  • Experience with some or all of the following tools and programming languages (or similar/equivalent tools):
    • RDF, OWL, SPARQL, Hadoop, HBase, Spark, NiFi, C#, Python, and Business Intelligence Software.
  • Experience developing large scale, web-based, enterprise software including API design and user interface implementation.
  • Familiar with semantic technology or other graph-based algorithms and databases, machine learning algorithms, or the application of other statistical, modeling, or simulation methodologies.
  • Prior experience with military operations and/or in military planning may substitute for some of the technical experience.
